Still
Still water makes room for reflection—for noticing what is present without immediately trying to change it.
A contemplative space
Calm, evidence-informed reflections on self-understanding, mindfulness, human connection and play—for the times when life feels full and you need space to hear what is happening within.
Still enough to reflect. Free enough to flow. Open enough to receive the light.

A place to begin
Disconnection does not always announce itself. Sometimes it looks like functioning, caring and meeting responsibilities while becoming less aware of what we feel, need, value or long for.
Reconnection is not about finding one fixed version of yourself. It can begin by noticing what is present, making room for your inner experience and gradually returning to what feels true and meaningful.
Contempla brings together ideas from counselling psychology, mindfulness and lived experience through grounded reflections and small, practical invitations—to understand your experience, cultivate steadiness and reconnect with yourself, others and life.
Steadiness within the flow
Wellbeing is not about making life perfectly still. It is learning to remain connected to yourself while life continues to move.
Still water makes room for reflection—for noticing what is present without immediately trying to change it.
Flowing water adapts. It reminds us that steadiness can be flexible, responsive and alive.
Water catches light. Even a small glimmer can help us recognize hope, connection and the return of play.
Rooted beneath the water. Moving gently with life. Opening toward the light.

I’m Diljeet K. Jandu, a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology candidate, and Art of Living Breathwork and Meditation Instructor.
After a longstanding corporate career, I was drawn more deeply toward counselling psychology and the questions beneath how we function: what we carry quietly, how change affects us, and what helps us feel steady and connected again.
Contempla explores wellbeing through the interconnected experiences of mind, body, relationships, meaning and everyday life.
My perspective brings together learning from counselling psychology, mindfulness, lived experience and a genuine curiosity about the role of relationships and play in our wellbeing. I share these ideas in language intended to feel clear, compassionate and useful in real life.
